BISHA announce new TEAM GB coach

September 3

BISHA would like to announce the appointment of our new senior Team GB coach… Andrew Sillitoe.

Andrew comes with a wealth of experience as both a player and a coach across Europe and the US, being capped 77 times he was part of the 1997 winning team in Germany, BISHA’s only gold medal to date.

He has had a successful coaching career with the IIHF team in the world championships winning gold twice and with that promotion to pool A.

As a player Andrew was part of the successful Tunbridge Wells Cruisers team winning the BISHA National championships twice in 1997 and 1998, also winning European titles within his career. Andrew also had a successful puck career playing in NARCH on multiple occasions.

He currently runs a successful business, The Strategic Team Coach, where he works with business and teams to create teams with more purpose, and is looking to bring this philosophy to the Team GB set up.

BISHA would like to wish Andrew all the success and support to help bring back gold in 2016.
