Team GB U16 Academy Manager
We are currently recruiting for a manager for our Team GB Academy
Job title: Team Great Britain Academy U 16 Academy General Manager
Reporting to: Team Great Britain Co-Ordinator
Hours: Once a month at training camps, scouting and whenever deemed necessary by Team GB Academy
Purpose of the position
To manage the Under U16 Team Great Britain Academy within line of the BISHA guidelines in preparation for the U19 team.
(At this moment in time the IISHF will not be holding any competitions for this age group)
Responsibilities & duties
Arrange all team training sessions at a suitable venue, preferably to be a rink in line with IISHF competition standards.
Inform players of their inclusion or unsuccessful inclusion into the academy training programme. Ensure that all players are current BISHA team players.
Co-ordinate all coaches and players for training.
Arrange any team travel arrangements.
Ensure that paperwork is submitted to Team GB Co-ordinator and IISHF.
Academic & trades qualifications
BISHA referee badge, if you don’t have this qualification you should be willing to work towards this.
Work experience & skills
Good management skills.
Experience of co-ordinating multiple people.
Experience with working with young people.
Must be willing to undertake a DBS check.
